ACT (Amador, Calaveras and Tuolumne) Veterans Collaborative

 The Collaborative is an open forum promoting the exchange of information and resources for the care of our military, veterans and families. Interested service providers, veteran organizations and community programs that provide support for active duty military, veterans, wounded warriors and military families are encouraged to attend. The ACT Veterans Collaborative includes Amador, Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties. The meeting provided networking and an information program to facilitate our working together.

                10:00 a.m.           Pledge of Alliance & Flag Salute.

·         Mission ~ Our duty is to serve those who have served our great nation. We facilitate Veterans Services for our service members, veterans, and families by streamlining access to Veterans healthcare, employment training, housing, and claims processing.  In support of our Military and Families, we are bridging the gap from military service to civilian life."

·         Mission ~ We strive to be an agency that is well trusted both from within, as well as outside the community to provide clear, accurate, and timely information and assistance concerning veterans' services and benefits. To be an organization that is fully integrated with other benefit delivery programs. Our ultimate aim is to provide the highest quality of service to the veteran community and, thereby, impart a positive image of county government.

 11:00 a.m.           Announcements: upcoming events, services, programs and resources focusing on health, housing, education, employment, finance and legal matters for veterans and families. (Please bring 60 business cards and brochures to share.)
