The 2010 Auburn Area Veterans Day Parade

and Community Ceremony and Luncheon  

              Honoring all veterans of the United States

                           An Auburn community event since 1919.    This Year's Theme:

                                                                  Korea: Defense of Liberty 

. The Parade  will begin at the Auburn Chamber of Commerce building and proceed down Lincoln Way.  It will pause at the new Streetscape  at 11:00 A.M..  There will be a three volley rifle salute followed by TAPS.   The parade will then resume and end at the National Guard Armory in the Gold Country Fairgrounds. Commemorative medals will be awarded to 500 veterans.  American flags and programs listing of the units in the parade will be distributed the spectators along the parade route  

The Complementary Luncheon   (hotdogs, chips, cookies, soft drinks) will be served at the end of the parade route at the National Guard Armory.  All participants and spectators are invited to attend.

The "Proud To Be An American"Celebration and Ceremony  will be held at the end of the parade route.  There will be music, singing and exhibitions.
