Post your community related announcements here to reach the entire ____________ Community.

Examples of community related announcements are: Specical events, fundraisers for your high school, college, church, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts. Elks, Moose. Chamber of Commerce, scholarships for the education of your children, youth oriented baseball or other athletic events, etc.

Other examples of community related announcements: Disabled veterans needing rides to keep their medical appointments. Veteran Spouses with babies, needing minor home repairs, batteries installed in their alarm systems. Veteran wives needing baby sitters during an emergency.

If your announcements serves a benefit or improves the community quality of life, is legal, Post _____, at its sole discretion. may post your announcement. Except for emergencies allow two weeks notice prior to the event date.

February 2020 Meeting Schedule - Our first meeting in February will be Wednesday, February 12th.  This will be our normal business meeting.  Hot Dogs and Chili will be available. 
February 26th will be our Sweetheart dinner meeting with open bar 5pm, Dinner 6pm, 7pm guest speaker from Sierra Moon Gold Smithing.  Bring your partner and or guest as this will be a fun evening.  Bring a raffel prize to share if you can.

Veterans Night Out at the Ball Park May 23, 2020!  Signing up Veterans who want to go to the Ball Park in Sacramento  May 23, 2020 to see the "River Cats" team in action.  This is an evening game and we have reserved seating.  Need to RSVP me ASAP as seats are going fast!  $21 per person.  Call or Email at post84laverne@gmail.com or (530) 885-1428.

Auburn Cruise Night 2020 - 2nd Friday of the month starting Friday, May 8, 2020.  The last night will be in September.  I need help manning the booth so send me an Email: post84laverne@gmail.com for call (530) 885-1428 to sign up and get detail info,  Larry LaVerne.  Its fun to be at the Cruise Night and you get to meet lots of wonderful folks.  Just hand out flyers to interested Veterans and let them know about our Post.  We start at 5pm and close up shop about 7:45pm.  Chairs and water provided, just bring your smiles and friendly handshake.

WAA Ceremony December 19, 2020- Yes, the December 19th Wreaths Across America Ceremony is coming up!  Our very own Bonnie Potter will be hosting the event where we will be laying living balsam wreaths onto our Veterans graves here at the Old and New Cemeteries.  Have you sponsored a wreath yet?  To do so just stop by the Hall and pick up a pamphlet which has the order form.  $15 for a beautiful wreath to place on a grave site.  $5 of that $15 comes back to the Post!  Be a part of Auburn History, sponsor a wreath and come to the Ceremony December 19th.  Deadline for wreaths is November 11th!  Call me if you need more info.
